Innsbruck INN Motion

158 kilometres of jogging and Nordic Walking trails

A new network of jogging and Nordic Walking trails was created in 2008 under the motto “INN Motion”.
The network comprises 24 trails with 8 different starting points leading through Innsbruck and the surrounding countryside. The routes were selected in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Tyrolean Government and the Tyrolean Tourist Office.
The routes are signposted from their various starting points, where there are also information boards indicating the length of the routes and the degree of difficulty (colour code: blue = easy, red = intermediate, black = challenging).
N.B. The Innsbruck municipal authority can accept no liability whatsoever for use of the signposted routes. The signposts serve merely as a source of orientation for the various routes. The municipal authority cannot be held responsible for the condition of the trails, over which it has no influence. In part, the trails follow untended paths through natural terrain where irregular surfaces and obstacles (tree roots, low branches, wet leaves, etc.) are always to be expected. The paths are not inspected to check their condition. Nor are they cleared of snow or gritted in winter. For these reasons, all persons using the trails do so at their own risk!
