City magistrate

The municipal council consists of

• the mayor as the executive board with the mayor's office

• the other employees of the City of Innsbruck. They are divided hierarchically into

Tasks

The municipal magistrate is an auxiliary body or official apparatus of all city bodies and authorities and is also the authority of first instance in administrative proceedings (e.g. issuing building permits).
