Paediatric and school vaccinations
The Service Unit Healthcare carries out recommended vaccinations for children up to the age of 16.
The free school immunisations are carried out directly on site by our public health officers. Parents receive comprehensive digital information on the respective immunisation beforehand. The declaration of consent is given to pupils to take home in good time.
At the vaccination appointment at school, the children bring the signed declaration of consent and their vaccination card. Before the vaccination, the public health officer will check the child's current state of health.
School immunisations can be easily integrated into everyday life and save parents and children additional journeys.
The following immunisations are carried out in schools:
- Diphtheria (croup) / tetanus (tetanus) / pertussis (whooping cough) / polio (polio) - 3rd grade
