  This workshop introduces beginners to the practical use of artificial intelligence (AI) in media production. Participants will learn how to use AI-supported tools for editing photo, video and audio content. Through interactive lectures and practical exercises, they develop an understanding of the possibilities of AI and expand their creative and technical skills.
• Smart & fit on mobile phones for seniors

  The workshop "Smart & Fit on mobile phones for seniors" offers a practical introduction to the use of smartphones in everyday life. Older participants learn how to use their devices effectively in interactive sessions. The focus is on basic functions and how to use them in everyday life. Experienced trainers support the participants in using apps and social media for communication. The workshop creates an accessible environment to introduce older people to technology and promote their independence.
• Surfing safely - safety on the internet
  17. March 2026: 9.00 - 12.00 a.m
  Mühlau neighbourhood centre: Hauptplatz 2, 6020 Innsbruck
  The aim is to teach participants basic skills for safe surfing on the internet. They will learn how to create strong passwords, use password managers and apply two-factor authentication. They will also learn how to recognise phishing and spam emails and how to deal with suspicious messages. Adjusting privacy settings in social networks is also covered.
• Security on the internet - reliable information in the age of AI and social media
  26. March 2026: 14.00 - 17.00 hrs
  BFI: Museumstraße 201, 6020 Innsbruck
  This workshop will teach you how to recognise reliable information and improve your online security in a digitalised world with the increasing influence of artificial intelligence and social media. You will learn how to identify fake news and AI-supported deepfakes and recognise credible news sources. You will also receive practical tips on how to strengthen your online privacy, such as creating secure passwords and recognising phishing emails. Discussions and exercises will deepen your knowledge of privacy while you develop concrete strategies to distinguish fact from fiction.
