If you create new jobs by setting up a new business, founding a new business, expanding or relocating within the city of Innsbruck, you can apply for a job premium under certain conditions. Who can apply for a job bonus?
- Small and medium-sized enterprises that are subject to municipal tax in the city of Innsbruck and
- employ at least three (new) employees who
- are fully covered by compulsory insurance and
- for which municipal tax is paid to the City of Innsbruck throughout the year,
- if these companies do not receive other subsidies for the creation of jobs.
Companies that are characterised by an optimal job density with low land consumption and low environmental impact are primarily supported.

How much is the job premium?
The city of Innsbruck subsidizes between 750 and 1,850 euros per workplace, depending on the density of the workplace and the fulfillment of corresponding guidelines. In total, the maximum possible subsidy is 50,000 euros.

You send the completed application form for the workplace bonus together with the required documents by post, e-mail or in person to Service Unit Economy and tourism

When is the workplace bonus paid out?
- You will receive payment of the first instalment amounting to 60 percent of the total funding amount after approval by the City Senate.
- You will receive payment of the second instalment amounting to 40 percent of the total funding amount after one year if you have proven that you have met the funding criteria.
