Honorary Citizen of the City of Innsbruck
The City Council appoints honorary citizens to persons who have rendered outstanding services to the city or who have significantly promoted the reputation of the city.
Ring of Honor of the City of Innsbruck
The Ring of Honor is awarded by the City of Innsbruck to persons who have rendered outstanding services to the city through extraordinary achievements or exemplary performance of duty, or who have enhanced the reputation of the city at home or abroad.
Cross of Merit of the City of Innsbruck
The Cross of Merit is awarded by the municipal council to persons who have rendered special services to the city.
Medal of Honor for Art and Culture of the City of Innsbruck
The Medal of Honor for Art and Culture is awarded by the City Council to persons who have rendered outstanding services to the city in the field of art or culture.
Sports Medal of Honor of the City of Innsbruck
The Sports Dec oration of Honor is awarded by the City Council to persons who have rendered outstanding services to the city in the field of sports.
Social Medal of Honor of the City of Innsbruck
The Social Med al of Honor is awarded by the City Council to natural or legal persons who have rendered outstanding services in the field of social work.
Business Medal of Honor of the City of Innsbruck
The City Council awards the Business Med al of Honor to natural persons or legal entities who have rendered outstanding services to the city in the field of business.
Medal of Merit of the City of Innsbruck
The Medal of Merit is awarded by the City Council to natural or legal persons who have rendered outstanding services to the city.
According to § 4 of the City Law of the Provincial Capital of Innsbruck, until 1989 the Medal of Humanity was awarded to natural and legal persons who had rendered special services in helping fellow human beings. With the resolution of the city council of 25.2.1992, the Medal of Merit of the City of Innsbruck was introduced instead of the Medal of Humanity.
