What is Bewegt am See?
Every year since 2004, the City of Innsbruck's City Department Sport has organised a free summer sports day for the citizens of Innsbruck. On these days, the focus is on demonstrating the wide range of exercise options and familiarising people with new sports and sports facilities. In addition, "Bewegt am See" is also the start of the twelve-week Bewegt im Park series.
What is the aim of Bewegt am See?
The aim of the "Bewegt am See" event is to arouse the interest of children, young people and all other Innsbruck residents from all age and social backgrounds in taking part in sport. In particular, the aim is to facilitate access to a wide variety of sports and also to clubs and associations.
What sports are on offer?
The range of sports on offer is so large and varied that there is sure to be something for everyone in Innsbruck who is hungry for exercise. From A for air track to Z for circus school, there is a wide range of sporting opportunities on offer.
Who can take part in the event?
From toddlers to senior citizens, all participants will find a suitable sport here. Of course, Innsbruck residents with physical or mental disabilities are also welcome. Staff from the Tyrolean Disabled Sports Association will be happy to provide advice and assistance. Participation is free of charge.
Green Event
The event "Bewegt am See" is officially a Green Event. This means that in addition to the sporting get-together, the focus is also on economy, ecology, social issues and culture. Special attention is paid to climate-friendly catering and the avoidance of waste, as well as environmentally friendly travel to and from the event by public transport. In addition, the sports program is aimed at all age groups and especially at people with disabilities.
Moving by the lake vs. moving in the park
"Bewegt am See" is the kick-off event for twelve weeks of physical activity activities in Innsbruck. Many sports offered at "Bewegtim Park" can be tried out in advance at the Baggersee. A great opportunity to get informed or to get to know a new sport.
What is the "Bewegt in Innsbruck" WebApp?
