Registration & Tariffs

Written registrations for the 2026/27 school year will be accepted until May 31, 2026. Registrations for the 2025/26 school year are still possible for early music education and the children's choirs up to and including September 2025.

By submitting your registration, you acknowledge the school regulations and agree to the processing of your data in accordance with the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) .

The amount of school fees was redefined by a decision of the Tyrolean state government on March 18, 2025. You can find the semester tariffs here:

Additional Information:

Tuition reductions are gladly accepted at any time. Completed applications can be handed in at the school office of the music school with enclosed documents at the
(posted in the music school) by the respective deadline.

Semester rates

Semester rates for children and young people up to the age of 21

(The effective date is September 1 following the child's 21st birthday)

50 minutes per week: Child/youth

Reduced: Child/youth

If several family members attend the music school in one main subject or if a child/young person attends several main subjects, the above discount will be granted for all other main subjects.

Study preparation, workshop/coaching: child/youth

Semester rates for adults aged 21 and over:

(the reference date is September 1 following the age of 21)

50 minutes per week: Adults

Club tariff: Adults

For adults who are members of musical associations (music school orchestras, bands and choirs) that are active in the public interest.

What do pupils from other municipalities have to consider?

The city of Innsbruck has decided to pay the municipal contribution for the music school of the city of Innsbruck for non-resident students. Newly registered students without a main residence in Innsbruck can apply for this contribution by completing the form for the municipal contribution to the music school.

Please clarify with your municipality of residence whether they are willing to pay the municipal contribution. If it is not possible for the municipality of residence to cover the costs, the City of Innsbruck Music School will not be able to accept you. In order for the application to be considered, the form signed and dated by the municipality must be received by the following deadlines:

• for the winter semester 2025/2026 by Friday, May 30, 2025 at the latest
• for the summer semester 2026 by Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the latest
