Registration & Fees

Written applications for the 2026/27 school year will be accepted until 31 May 2026. Applications for the 2026/27 school year for early musical education and the children’s choirs can still be submitted up to and including September 2026.

By submitting your application, you acknowledge the school regulations and consent to the processing of your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) .

Pursuant to a resolution of the Tyrolean Provincial Government dated 24 March 2026, the level of school fees will be revised with effect from the start of the 2026/2027 school year:

Tuition reductions are gladly accepted at any time. Completed applications can be handed in at the school office of the music school with enclosed documents at the
(posted in the music school) by the respective deadline.

Termly fees for children and young people up to the age of 21

(The reference date is 1 September following the child’s 21st birthday)

50 minutes per week: Child/Young person

Concession: Child/Young Person

If several family members are enrolled in the music school for one main subject, or if a child or young person is enrolled in several main subjects, the reduction listed above applies to all additional main subjects.

University preparation, workshops/coaching: children/young people

Termly fees for adults aged 21 and over:

50 minutes per week: Adults

Club rate: Adults

For adults who are members of musical organisations (music school orchestras, bands and choirs) operating in the public interest.

What do pupils from other localities need to bear in mind?

The City of Innsbruck has introduced a local authority contribution for pupils from outside the city attending the City of Innsbruck Music School. Newly enrolled pupils who do not have their main residence in Innsbruck can apply to the Music School for this contribution by submitting the completed form for the municipal contribution.

Please check with your local authority to see whether it is willing to cover the municipal contribution. If your local authority is unable to cover the costs, the City of Innsbruck Music School will be unable to admit you. For your application to be considered, the form, signed and dated by the local authority, must be received in good time by the following deadlines:

• for the 2027 summer term by Friday 15 January 2027 at the latest
• for the 2027/2028 winter term, by Monday 31 May 2027 at the latest
