Prize money: 4,000 euros
Each Austrian graphic design competition is accompanied by a catalogue with the winning works, which are also presented to the public in an exhibition at the Tyrolean State Museum Ferdinandeum.

Who awards the prize?
The City of Innsbruck awards the prize every two years as part of the Austrian Graphic Design Competition. The Austrian Graphic Design Competition was based on an idea by the Tyrolean artist Paul Flora and has been successfully organised by the Province of Tyrol since 1952.
How do I apply?
The call for applications is issued by the Province of Tyrol and is organised by the Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum.

Who can apply?
Applicants must
- have Austrian citizenship or
- have resided permanently in Austria for at least 5 years or
- Artists from the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/South Tyrol.
What can be submitted?
Works of all graphic techniques including new media are eligible:
- Drawing
- Watercolour
- Printmaking
- Photocopy
- digital graphics in the form of prints
Only paper may be used as a medium.
Excluded from the competition are works on supports such as stone, ceramics, glass and similar materials as well as pure photography and sculptural works.

Who decides on the awards?
An international jury will select the twelve best graphic works from all submissions, each of which will be honoured with differently endowed prizes. One of the twelve selected works will be honoured with the City of Innsbruck Prize for Graphics.
