There are eleven municipal and numerous private crèches with childcare places for children under the age of drein Innsbruck. The municipal crèches are run by Innsbrucker Soziale Dienste (ISD). All crèches are listed on the map and in the list on the left. More information on the individual crèches can be found under "Details".

How do I register my child at the crèche?
Registration for the crèche will take place digitally via the FRIDA platform in the period
from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2026.
The rest of the process (making appointments and allocating places) is organised by Innsbruck Social Services (ISD).
The Service Unit Education service centre will be happy to assist you personally with any questions regarding registration.
