Mühlau waterworks playground

The playground is located in Mühlau, below the drinking water power station. It is approx. 1,500 m² in size. With the participation of the neighbouring residents, the city of Innsbruck has upgraded this playground with various play equipment and a drinking fountain.

From May to June 2024, the City of Innsbruck's City Department Green spaces team collected ideas and suggestions from the local population in order to design an attractive playground in the neighbourhood. Planning objectives were developed from this and a corresponding plan was drawn up. The redesign then took place from October to December 2024.
