The city library as an app
With the library app, users always have their library card with them digitally. The previous plastic card is therefore a thing of the past with the app. Customers can choose between a digital and physical card when registering for the first time.
Other functions
Users can create watch lists, reserve media and manage their account in the app. The barcode scanner integrated into the app makes it possible to check everywhere whether their favourite book is also available in the city library.
If you want to avoid queues at the lending desk, you can use the app to borrow items directly from the shelf. Media can now be easily scanned in with a smartphone and added to your own account.
Bib-News keeps library members up to date with the latest information and event notices at a glance.
The city library app includes
- Digital library card
- Create watch lists
- Borrow from the shelf
- Manage your account
- Check if your favourite book is available in the library
