SENIOR CITIZENS

LIFE CERTIFICATE

You can apply for a life certificate to the Citizens’ Advice Service or to the Citizens’ Advice Offices for Igls and Vill or Arzl.

To do so, you must

  • live in Innsbruck as your main place of residence,
  • attend in person,
  • bring a photo ID with you,
  • and show the communication from the office or agency requiring presentation of a life certificate.


If you cannot attend in person, you may send a representative as long as he or she presents a medical certificate or a residence certificate from a residential or nursing home on your behalf.


There is an administration charge of € 2.30.
